The SSI Extended Range program qualifies you to dive to a depth of 45 meters / 145 feet using nitrox mixtures of up to 100%. The program can be completed wearing a complete Extended Range Total Diving System, appropriate for single gas switch, accelerated decompression diving. You will earn the SSI Extended Range certification after completing this program.
Minimum age: 18 years old

Certification Prerequisites: Enriched Air Nitrox 40% Certification, Deep Diving Certification, 50 logged dives
This program provides the knowledge and experience required to independently plan and conduct limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters, using nitrox mixtures up to 50%. This entry-level program introduces you to the Extended Range training techniques and skills, and can be completed wearing a standard single-cylinder equipment configuration. You will earn the SSI Extended Range Nitrox Diving certification after completing this program.
Minimum age: 16 years old
Certification Prerequisites: Deep Diving Certification, Enriched Air Nitrox 40% certification, 24 logged dives
Maximum training Depth: 40 meters/130 feet
This is the pinnacle of technical diving. Here you will use all the knowledge, skills, equipment and experience from all of your previous training and push your limits to the extreme. There are two pathways; one takes you to 80 meters / 265 feet,and the other to 100 meters / 330 feet using the same Extended Range Total Diving System you mastered in previous programs. However, you will now use a minimum of three stages for decompression and travel gases. You will earn the SSI Hypoxic Trimix certification after completing this program.

Maximum Training Depth: 100 meters/ 330 feet
This program allows limited penetration into wrecks with an overhead environment. The training required for this type of diving is overhead buoyancy control, new finning techniques, laying safety line and the proper use of a light. The program can be completed wearing a single cylinder with either a pony cylinder or H/Y valve or a technical total diving system. Upon completion of the program the diver is certified as follows: SSI XR Advanced Wreck Diving Instructor.
Minimum age: 18 years old
QUOTEThis program allows unlimited decompression wreck penetration to a maximum depth of 60 meters (during training). Like the other overhead programs, the training required for this type of diving requires high-level buoyancy control, finning techniques, laying line and the proper use of a light. You will also learn about a lost line, lost light and lost diver procedures. You will earn the SSI Technical Wreck Diving certification after completing this program.
Minimum age: 18 years old
Certification Prerequisites: Wreck Diving, Rescue Diver, Extended Range, Advanced Wreck or Cavern Diving, AOWD, 75 logged dives
Maximum Training Depth: 60 meters/ 200 feet
